thoughts on astrology

i’d like to share astro musings here. hopefully they inspire your understandings of astrology.

earthly cycles and energies influence us, the planets influence earthly energies, “something” (cue awe and mystery) influences the stars and planets. our cycles and energies are interconnected.

have you ever gazed at the stars, taken a quiet walk in the woods, or admired a flower pushing up through the concrete and felt at home? like, deeply at peace and grateful for that moment communing with nature? feeling like you’re a part of something vast and mystical? i hope so.

astrology is that big. it’s a language of the universe after all. and yet, these energies can still reflect the microscopic happenings of our lives. i do not mean to condescend by calling our lives small, but relatively speaking, it’s a fact. it goes without saying our human experience is incredibly complex and profound. whether that’s by some divine design or of our own meaning making, i don’t think it matters. creating community, embodying contentment and ultimately distilling meaning out of this experience is of the utmost importance to humanity’s evolution. astrology can help us do that.

discovering the energies of your natal chart for the first time feels like the universe whispering, “i see you, do you see me?” having a good astrology reading can be incredibly affirming and reassure us that we can get through this and even thrive with a little understanding. it’s a practice we’ve used to describe the who, what, when, where and why of life over millennia.

in sharing astrology with others i hope to be just one influence to strengthen our bond with the seen and unseen worlds. to inspire compassion, integrity and respect in our hearts and in others.

i’m glad you found your way here. thank you for reading.
